Festivity Corpus Christi in Valencia

Corpus Christi, is one of the oldest religious festival in the city of Valencia. From Friday June 24, the 'Rocks', old cars of triumph, will be exposed in the Plaza de la Virgen until Sunday afternoon. On Saturday 25, will take place representations of the 'Mysteries', to be followed by a concert by the municipal band of Valencia in the same plaza. The big day will arrive on Sunday. From 9 am acts will happen one after another until 19 pm, when dozens of people participate in the solemn procession. A show of dancing, parades, characters and solemnity to complete a weekend round.

June 23.
20:00 - The Church of the Patriarch, Solemn Eucharist Corpus Christi Cathedral Choir accompanied by the completion and Corpus Proclamation by His Excellency. Mr. Fernando de Rosa Torner, vice president of the High Judicial Council.

Day June 24.
09:00 - Transfer of the Rock from the Rock House to the Plaza de Los Fueros.
10:00 - Delivery Pomells the first author.
20:30 - Moving Rocks the Plaza de la Virgen where exposed.

Day June 25.
19:30 - Representation of the mysteries in the Plaza de la Virgen.
23:00 - Special Concert of the Municipal Band in the Plaza de la Virgen.

June 26.
09:00 - ringing of bells from the tower Miguelete.
10:30 - Pontifical Mass at Holy Cathedral.
12:00 - Parade and exhibition dances of Corpus and Degollado.
12:00 to 12:30 - bell ringing for the Feast of Corpus Christi from the Miguelete.
16:30 - Pass the Rock.
17:30 - Departure of carts and Les Danses Murta.
19:00 - Solemn Procession and entrance to the Cathedral.
19:00 to 21:00 - bell ringing from the Miguelete.
