Cirque du Soleil: Corteo in Alicante

Corteo, "cortege"in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive procession of the imagination of a clown. The show combines the passion of the actors with the elegance and power of the acrobat to plunge the audience into a theatrical and mysterious world, somewhere between heaven and earth, that mixes fun, comedy and spontaneity .
The clown represents his own funeral, taking place in a carnival atmosphere, while a guardian angel watching in silence. Through a mix of large and small, the ridiculous and the tragic and the magic of perfection and charm of imperfection, the show highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the clown, as well as his wisdom and delicacy to illustrate that portion of humanity that resides within us all. The music, lyrical and playful on, carries Corteo through a timeless celebration in which illusion teases reality.
