Perfect Crime in the Main Theater Alicante

Tony Wendice wants to murder his wife Margot to get their money. Blackmails an old acquaintance to enter into house in his absence and strangle Margot when she receives a phone call. However, the plan fails, and the play takes an unexpected turn.
The English playwright Frederick Knott was premiered at the BBC in 1952 and subsequently on the London stage and New Yorkers, before the making of the film, two years later. The screenplay was written by the Knott and the film was directed by Alfred Hitchckok.
